Cristiano Melo
With a law degree from Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) Law School (2000), he started his career at the firm Castro, Barros, Sobral, Gomes Advogados, first as an intern and then an associate lawyer (1998-2004), worked in the legal department of Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (2004-2007), and practiced as a lawyer with Ulhôa Canto, Rezende e Guerra Advogados (2007-2013) and then was a partner with Campos Mello Advogados (2013-2018). Cristiano acts mainly in the areas of corporate and contractual law, with long experience in mergers and acquisitions and foreign investments. He has postgraduate specialization in oil and gas law from the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum/Campos School of Law (2005) and in civil-constitutional law from Rio de Janeiro State University (2004)
